Privacy policy

GameDay Scores is operated by [operator name, address, contact email: to be completed]. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Staff account details (name, email, school role); school information; player first and last names and jersey numbers, provided by the school; match scores and events; contact messages; and device and log data needed to run the service. We do not collect players' birth dates, photos, contact details, or student IDs.

How it's used

To run the service, show scores and games, send account and support messages, and keep the service secure.

What's public

Game scores and play-by-play are public. Player names appear only when the team turns on "show player names"; otherwise only jersey numbers are shown. Videos are controlled by the school's YouTube channel and its visibility settings.

YouTube

When a school connects its YouTube channel, we use YouTube API Services to create and manage live broadcasts on that channel. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time in your Google Account's security settings.

Students' privacy

Information about students is provided by the school, not collected from children. Schools can ask us to access, correct, or delete it. FERPA, COPPA, and state student-privacy obligations are to be confirmed by legal review.
